It’s Saturday! That means I have 2 full days to focus on my baby blog!! 🙂
I have been busy developing recipes and working on my food photography for the upcoming week. I have also made some technological advancements. You may have noticed the new “YUM” share button featured on the bottom of my posts along with the other share buttons (eg. Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest). This will enable you to share your favourite recipes to Yummly.

I am a Yummly addict and am always on there browsing recipes and saving ones I want to try into my recipe box. If you are like me, you can now use the Yummly button to save my recipes in your own personal recipe box!

If you are just hearing about Yummly for the first time, where have you been all your life!! (just kidding 🙂 ). Yummly is the largest recipe search engine with over 15 million users monthly! It is similar to Pinterest in some ways, but it’s much more organized and specifically geared for recipes. With Yummly you can narrow down your recipe search using unique filters to find recipes by ingredients, occasions, cook time, taste, diet, allergies, nutrition, technique, cuisine, course, etc.! Or you can simply browse popular recipes to get inspiration. There are millions of recipes that you can save to your recipe box simply by clicking “YUM”.
It is very easy to join this huge food network. All you have to do is sign up through either your Facebook account, your Google + account, or your email address. You will be connected within minutes, if not seconds.
Any recipe that you “YUM” will be automatically saved into your recipe box. But if you want to be even more organized, you can sort your recipes into specific collections. For instance, I have made collections for breakfast, appetizers, vegetarian dishes and seafood, to name a few.
Yummly will also get to know you over time. It will find out what kind of food you like based on your “YUMs” and will make recommendations for you each time you log on!
Happy recipe hunting! And if you like any of our recipes, be sure to YUM it! 🙂
