Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh turmeric, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- pinch of ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn off heat and allow contents to sit for 5 minutes.
- Pour into a mug through a strainer or sieve to hold back the solid pieces (optional), and drink immediately.
Notes
If you cannot get your hands on fresh turmeric, you can substitute it for 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
