Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings (approximately 20-25 split wings)
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/3 cup buttermelted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese or ranch dip (optional, for serving)
  • celerycut into 2 inch pieces (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
  2. Remove the tips of the wings and discard. Using a knife, separate the wings at the joint.
  3. Bake wings for 15 minutes, then flip. Continue to bake for another 15 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together together the hot sauce and butter.
  5. Toss the cooked wings in the hot sauce mixture until fully coated.
  6. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing and celery sticks.

Notes

Plan your menu ahead of time. You can prepare many of these appetizers and party food ahead of time. Some can stored in an airtight container for a few days at room temperature or in the refrigerator, and some can even be frozen, according to recipe directions.
