Description
Easy 5-minute pico de gallo chunky salsa is packed with fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and lime juice (and optional jalapeños for a spicy kick).
Ingredients
- 4 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
- juice of 1 lime
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3-6 slices jalapeño pepper (to taste)
- tortilla chips (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
- Transfer to a small serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips.
Notes
Make it in the food processor: Combine all ingredients together in a food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached (I like to keep the salsa chunky).
Adjust the spiciness: For a spicy salsa, add jalapeño peppers. To keep the salsa mild, omit the jalapeño peppers.
