Description

Easy 5-minute pico de gallo chunky salsa is packed with fresh tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and lime juice (and optional jalapeños for a spicy kick).


Ingredients

  • 4 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 medium oniondiced
  • 1/2 bunch cilantrochopped
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3-6 slices jalapeño pepper (to taste)
  • tortilla chips (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Transfer to a small serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

Make it in the food processorCombine all ingredients together in a food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached (I like to keep the salsa chunky).

Adjust the spiciness: For a spicy salsa, add jalapeño peppers. To keep the salsa mild, omit the jalapeño peppers.
