Description

Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a sweet and savory side dish made with just 6 ingredients in one skillet in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen corn, thawed
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat until bubbly, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the thawed corn and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's heated through, lightly golden in spots, and most of the excess moisture has evaporated.
  3. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the cream cheese, honey, salt, and black pepper until the cream cheese is fully melted and the corn is evenly coated in the smooth, creamy sauce, about 2 minutes.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, chives, or an extra drizzle of honey, if desired, and serve immediately.
