Description

High Protein Overnight Oats are a creamy, no-cook breakfast made with kefir, protein powder, oats, and chia seeds for a filling start to your day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup kefir (or plain yogurt)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup rolled oats (not quick oats or steel-cut oats)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add yogurt, milk, honey, vanilla, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until fully dissolved and smooth.
  2. Stir in the rolled oats and chia seeds until evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a mason jar or a small airtight container. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, until thickened.
  4. In the morning, give the oats a good stir. Add a splash of milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  5. Top with your favorite toppings such as mixed berries, granola, or coconut flakes and serve.
