Description

Peanut Butter Banana Toast is an incredibly simple yet healthy breakfast that's ready in a hurry. Peanut butter and banana are a classic flavor combo, and this version adds granola, honey, and chia seeds for a little sweetness and crunch. It's one of my favorite ways to start the day without turning the stove on at all!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices toast breadwhole wheat, white, sourdough, etc.
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granola
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread in a toaster or oven, then immediately place them on a cooling rack. (Note: If you put the toast straight on a plate, the bottom will steam and it will become soggy).
  2. Once slightly cooled, spread the nut butter evenly across bread.
  3. Top with sliced banana and granola, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chia seeds.

Notes

Storing: This easy breakfast toast is best served fresh. After reheating, the toast can become soft or soggy.
