Description
Peanut Butter Banana Toast is an incredibly simple yet healthy breakfast that's ready in a hurry. Peanut butter and banana are a classic flavor combo, and this version adds granola, honey, and chia seeds for a little sweetness and crunch. It's one of my favorite ways to start the day without turning the stove on at all!
Ingredients
- 2 slices toast bread, whole wheat, white, sourdough, etc.
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1 banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons granola
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Instructions
- Toast the bread in a toaster or oven, then immediately place them on a cooling rack. (Note: If you put the toast straight on a plate, the bottom will steam and it will become soggy).
- Once slightly cooled, spread the nut butter evenly across bread.
- Top with sliced banana and granola, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chia seeds.
Notes
Storing: This easy breakfast toast is best served fresh. After reheating, the toast can become soft or soggy.
