Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine (1/2 pound)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup vegetable stock
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tails removed
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add fettuccine and a little bit of salt and cook until al dente according to package directions, about 10 minutes for dry pasta (3-5 minutes for fresh fettuccine). Drain the noodles well and set aside.
